How our sessions can contribute to a pre-existing design thinking intervention

1) Future Thinking Strategic Planning Sessions, Scoping Workshops

Before embarking on a looking at solutions of delivery (ie company wide or team Design Thinking session and other workshops), its important to ensure the right program is designed and chosen. We can help you co-design innovation strategy programs that match your organization’s goals. We recommend that all stakeholders should do a Future Thinking Strategic Planning Session, (this can make use of DT and other tools). This workshop includes assessment of the current business model to identify strategic opportunities, asses how strong the leaders are in supporting the transformation, who is innovation ready and assess the tension around this, look at how aligned the teams are, (trust and collaboration), discover the current structure, where the leaders are today and what is happening. Look at designing programs that are user centered (ie in this case the audience might be the employees and stake holders and eventually the customer.) This can be priced on a T&M model (time and materials).

This stage can also include: Diagnose, Design, Development, Customisation. Understand client business strategies, Determine desired outcomes, Link learning to needs and desired outcomes, Develop content & delivery methods to reach outcomes, Prepare best teams & resources.

Are you really ready for design thinking?

Before jumping into the more traditional Design Thinking sessions / complete with “A Pitch” & “Innovation Lab” we recommend considering a Pre Strategic Planning Design Thinking Session (PSP-DT) with the key stakeholders.
